There may well be slimmer pickings than usual for this in future, as Peter City (who seems to be hated by yer actual Chelmsford fans) has announced his retirement. Yeah, right.

In any case, it’s fellow big boys AFC Wimbledon this week in the form of the aptly named ClasslessBandwagoner:

The attendance of 2,711 was better than FIVE Division 4 ones last night and even one Division 3 one (struggling Hereford). It is also our FOURTH best ever midweek attendance (not including the exceptional Chipstead first game and the AFC Hornchurch play-off semi-final) after AFC Wallingford, Thurrock in our first home game this season and Godalming & Guildford in the CCL (2,724). To put the increase into even more context, it was roughly comparable to the two August Bank Holiday(!) games against local Staines.

Yep, his team are top of the league and the majority of the post is dedicated to an analysis of how many people turned up.

Still, the AFC Dons fans also seem to think he is a pillock.

Not one, but two morons this week.

Contender number one is Peter Foster, a man who overuses the ellipse even more than I do… and who also has a bone to pick with Hayes and Yeading:

Top of the league playing Braintree at home and they attract an attendance of….264. The club is almost being run as a hobby by the H & Y money men…. The good people of H & Y clearly aren’t interested…. I note 379 attended the H Y home fixture (against Chelmsford City) on the opening day of the season – 09.08.08 – slap bang in the midle of the holiday season…. One wonders just how many would have put in an appearance had H & Y been at the bottom of the league rather than at the top….

No, one doesn’t wonder that at all. One wonders why this prick is spending his Sunday afternoon looking up attendance figures.

Foster is an idiot of course, but at least he isn’t pretending to be an extra in a piss-poor Guy Ritchie movie. Here’s the wisdom of Dillinger:

Yeah, you better jog on, mugs, because the mighty AFC Dons and Chelmo are the only proper sides around. Dillinger is a twat simply for posting this, but the fact that he managed to completely miss out the AFC Wimbledon average (2930, if you’re keeping score) and ignore the fact that Worcester (despite their troubles) are pulling 50% higher crowds than the mighty Clarets means that he truly is an attendance obsessed loser.

In the first of what is highly likely to be an occasional series, it’s time to play hunt the attendance-obsessed moron on the non-league forums. And it’s no surprises with the first winner, as professional troll Peter City takes time out to slate a team that’s, er, doing better than his:
